Ronan Le Coadic, sociologist, is originally from Paimpol (Brittany). He is a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques, IEP, of Paris ("Science-Po"), and has an "agrégation" in Social Sciences and a Phd in Sociology. He is currently a lecturer at the teacher training college "IUFM de Bretagne". He is the author of several books : L’Identité bretonne (1998), les Campagnes rouges de Bretagne (1991), Bretagne : le Fruit défendu ? (2002), and la Bretagne dans vingt ans (2004), as well as many articles. He also edited Identités et démocratie (2003) and Et la Bretagne ? Héritage, identité, projets (2004). Accredited to supervise research, Ronan Coadic is a researcher in the Centre de Recherches sur l'Action politique en Europe, CRAPE (UMR 6051 CNRS – Université de Rennes 1 - IEP de Rennes). He also animates a multi-field group of research, the Atelier de recherches bretonnes, ARBRE. Lastly, he is associate member in the research centre Bretagne et Pays Celtiques (université de Rennes 2, Equipe d'Accueil 3205).
