Centenary of the birth of Anjela Duval
For the centenary of the birth of Anjela Duval, association Mignoned Anjela invites you to pay homage to the poetess near her grave,
in the cemetery of Plouaret, Sunday April 3, 2005 at 2 pm.
- a sculpture, made of granite, of Yvon Ollivier-Henry, inspired by the poem "Preder", will be inaugurated.
- a plate, where this poem is engraved, will be revealed.
- Poems of Anjela Duval will be read by Anne Auffret, Marie-Thérčse Corson (niece of the poetess), Jean-Marc Imbert, Yann-Fańch Kemener, Roger Laouenan (maybe), Ronan Coadic, Sebastien Guillou, Yann-Bźr Piriou (maybe) and any person who wishes to.
In addition, the family of Anjela Duval invites you, the same day, Sunday April 3, 2005, at 3 pm, to a mass in Breton in the church of Le Vieux-Marché..

Anjela Duval is this woman who, during the day, cultivates the ground of her small farm, Traoń an Dour, and who,
every evening, takes her books and writes poems, become among the most liked in Breton language.
Breton is her language of everyday, and she learned the literary language, which she enriches by her words,
by her sensitivity. Her poems reveal her lucid love of nature, her rage against the organized decline of Breton,
her anguishes, her humour
